Teen Tuesday - The First Edition

Teen Tuesday is the day we set aside for teen book lovers visit with each other to find out what's being read in the world of young adult literature. You can comment whether you are a participant or not. Visit all the posters at teentuesday.blogspot.com . It has been a very fruitful young adult week for me. Since last Tuesday I have finished 6 books. All of them young adult! One in particular caught my interest the most. It wasn't th e best or the most entertaining (in all reality it kept putting me to sleep), but I was so curious to learn how it came about. Library

It was whisper silent in the library today. Yes, one should always whisper in the library, but here they rarely do. It felt like a rainy, dark day though the sun was shining brightly. I did not sleep well last night. I had many nightmares and half sleeps. Reality mingling into dreams, like a kind of delirium. Even now I do not feel fully awake, traveling through some dream world or walking through water.

The Sunday Salon

Today I am having a weird day. It started last night while I was reading. I just decided to close my eyes for a little bit, but of course I drifted off for the rest of the night. Since it was a little bit earlier than I usually go to bed by body decided that getting up at 5am would be the best compensation. My mind didn't agree. It has been sort of nice; lazily reading, lounging in bed, cat napping. Midday the girl's father came and picked them up. I grabbed a little bit of a longer nap. Today I finished The Goose Girl by Shannon Hale. It is nice to be finished with it since it did tend to put me to sleep. Though I enjoyed it more than that statement implies, and I think even more than I expected I would. I also started Book of a Thousand Days by the same author. I didn't get around to posting last week, but I still want to post my May Wrap-Up . May was a fabulous reading month for me even though, seriously, I don't feel that accomplished. I recently starte
