We decided it would be more fun to do this book club style. We plan on reading the books together and discussing them privately amongst ourselves. Franny and Zoey is kind of my #1 of all time! Great list.
ReplyDeleteI've read 4 of these! The best in my opinion is Hitchhiker's Guide. I liked Gone with the Wind as a teenager but haven't read it in 15 yrs. Memoirs of a Geisha is a solid romance that i enjoyed. Owen Meany was deep and harder to read and i still don't know if i liked it! good luck.

ReplyDeleteOn your list, I 've read Memoirs of a Geisha, A Prayer for Owen Meany, The Hitchhikers' Guide (all of them) and Love in the Time of Cholera.
Hmmm... I've read 5 of those listed (possibly six depending on what Jane Austen you choose). Good luck! How many have you read so far?
ReplyDeleteWell I changed up the list considerably. I am planning on reading Hitchhiker's still and Cat's Eye. I already read Franny and Zooey. And then 4 others that are not listed here. The Time Machine, The Handmaid's Tale, The Little Prince, and Frankenstein.
